Cherokee Jade, 2009 TB filly, 15.1 1/2Hh.  CJ may not be tall, but she makes up for it in ability and has plenty of scope and athleticism to move up the levels.  Her rider is 14-year-old Isabell, who has competed CJ through Novice eventing and 1.1M jumpers.  She has been in the ribbons in every show she's entered so far!  She is very well bred by Cherokee's Boy out of Brilliant Lass by Marine Brass.  More pictures are on our facebook page!  Please click on photo to enlarge.

Isabell riding in a jump clinic with Dom Schramm

Isabell and CJ at their first show together-- the only junior competing in the TB 2'6" division!

We had a difficult time capturing a picture with CJ's ears up-- she just wanted to doze!  We tried squeaky toys, running children, crinkly paper, whistles, etc., and she was unflappable.

I'm 5'9" with very long legs, and CJ certainly takes them up.  She rides like a much larger horse.
